WhoCat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest and fastest growing non-profit, no-kill cat shelter with its own on-site veterinary hospital - located 20 miles south of Portland. CAT rehabilitates and finds loving homes for the community’s abandoned, neglected and injured cats and kittens. CAT partners with local county shelters, other rescue groups, and veterinary offices to rescue cats who might otherwise be euthanized due to medical problems or space constraints. CAT will save close to 3,200 feline lives this year. As 501(c)(3) publicly-supported charity, CAT relies heavily on the generous support of the public and volunteers.
WhatWith a full service veterinary hospital on site, we are able to provide preventive and crisis medical care, as well as spaying or neutering all cats prior to adoption. By partnering with other community organizations, we effectively educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the value of cats in families. Everyone who visits us also learns about our indoor-only adoption policy and why we strongly discourage declawing.
WhenPlease visit our shelter in Sherwood. CAT is open seven days: Monday - Friday from 11 am until 7 pm (adoption stop at 6:30 pm) and weekends from 10 am until 6 pm (adoption stop at 5:30 pm). Read our adoption policies and procedures. Our adoption fees include:
